Who is qualified to receive Reiki training?
Anyone can learn Reiki from a qualified Reiki Master. For those who would like to train in Reiki with me, I suggest first doing self-healing work through one of my programs or similar self-healing programs. Alternatively, if you are already a wellness practitioner, Reiki is an amazing complimentary modality to add to your practice.
Why is self-healing work important?
To be an effective healing channel for others, it is crucial to be fully integrated and embodied in your own healing and spiritual path. You must practice transcending the ego, so that spirit has a clear channel to flow through. Standard Reiki training programs are only 16 to 27 hours long. They are designed to give you the ability to channel Reiki but do not offer the foundational self-work necessary to be a fully integrated healer.
How do I know if I'm called to learn Reiki?
If the idea has entered your consciousness, then your intuition may already be guiding you in this direction. Spirit may be bringing this to your attention because it is aligned with your life purpose. If you are highly empathetic, have always felt called to help others but didn't know how, and are sensitive to energy or can sense beyond your five senses, these are all indicators that you are called to the path of the healer.
